Ronald Wyn Davies (born March 20, 1942 in Caernarfon, Gwynedd) is a former professional Welsh football player.
   Davies was the archetypal target man. With his well-developed aerial abilities he earned the nickname 'Wyn the Leap'. Davies is perhaps best known for playing for Newcastle United in England between 1966 and 1971. He was notably part of their Inter-Cities Fairs Cup winning team of 1969. He later played for Manchester City and Manchester United. In total, he earned 34 caps and scored 6 goals for the Wales national football team.
